On the morning of January 23, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the 14th Central Executive Committee of the Party held the first Conference to decide on particularly important issues, marking the beginning of the new term.
Comrade To Lam - General Secretary of the 13th Party Central Committee, convener of the Conference, delivered the opening speech and on behalf of the Presidium of the Conference, chaired the Conference program.
Based on strictly implementing the Party Charter, working regulations, election regulations and related contents, promoting the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, and effectively implementing the principle of democratic centralism, the first Conference of the 14th Central Executive Committee of the Party has completed particularly important contents:
1. Elect the Politburo.
2. ELECT GENERAL SECRETARY.
3. Elect the Secretariat.
4. Listen to reports on the plan for key leadership positions of the Party and State and give opinions on personnel to hold the position of Standing Secretary of the Secretariat.
5. Elect the Central Inspection Committee.
6. Electing the Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee.
The 14th Central Executive Committee of the Party has absolutely unanimously elected Comrade To Lam - General Secretary of the 13th Central Executive Committee of the Party to continue holding the position of General Secretary of the 14th Central Executive Committee of the Party.
