On January 12, the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negative Phenomena of Tuyen Quang province held the 15th Meeting to evaluate the results of activities in 2025; identify key tasks for 2026.
In 2025, the Steering Committee has comprehensively and drastically implemented tasks. Inspection and supervision work has been strengthened.
Party committees and Inspection Committees at all levels conducted inspections when there were signs of violations against 13 party organizations and 84 party members. Through inspection, 9 party organizations and 77 party members were found to have shortcomings and violations.
Disciplining 4 party organizations and many party members. Among them, there are many cases of serious violations that must be handled by expulsion.
Functional agencies have also deployed 207 inspections and examinations, thereby detecting economic violations of over 85.8 billion VND, proposing to recover more than 29.4 billion VND to the budget; issuing 137 decisions to sanction administrative violations.
Prosecuting agencies have accepted and resolved dozens of cases with hundreds of defendants and accused. 5.2 billion VND was recovered in the procedural stages; the rate of money enforcement reached over 93%.
The whole province identifies 40 slow-progress projects, up to now 18 projects have been resolved, and 22 projects are still being directed to be handled, striving to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
At the meeting, delegates discussed and gave opinions on the draft summary report for 2025; Work Program, Inspection and Supervision Program for 2026.
Concluding the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh affirmed that the work of preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity in the province has been comprehensively implemented and achieved many positive results.
The Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee also pointed out some causes leading to corruption and negativity in the area; forecasting the risk and developments of corruption and negativity in the coming time will continue to have many complex factors.
The Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee requested that in 2026, the steering committee and Party committees and Party organizations at all levels continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's viewpoints and policies, especially the General Secretary's direction on preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity.
Inspection and supervision work must be focused and key. After inspection and supervision, violations must be clearly pointed out, showing propaganda and deterrence. Internal affairs agencies continue to review and propose cases and incidents to be included in the monitoring area of the steering committee.
Focus on directing the strict handling of corruption and negativity cases and incidents. Accelerate the progress of handling slow-progressing and inefficiently used projects.
