These days, Ms. Giang Thi Nai's family in Hong Thai commune, Tuyen Quang province is busy working with the people and local authorities to complete their dream house. This is also one of 81 temporary and dilapidated houses that are eligible for support to be rebuilt.
Ms. Nai said that her family is a poor household, does not work enough to eat, and poverty continues to haunt her. The couple's previous house was dilapidated, paved with bamboo and earthen walls, and leaking in the rain and wind, but the dream of building a new house for Ms. Nai's family was very distant because of poverty.
"Thanks to the support of the State and the help of the villagers, my husband and I have a very beautiful house. I don't know what else to say, thank you so much to the State and the government", Ms. Nai was moved.
According to Mr. Le Van Tu - Chairman of Hong Thai Commune People's Committee, the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households and policy households in the area has been implemented very vigorously.

"We have gone to each house to encourage people, from seeing the housework days of households to be able to do it as soon as possible. Currently, the last 4 households are almost finished with construction," Mr. Tu informed.
Tuyen Quang province aims to complete the elimination of 1,064 temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households and policy households by August 31, 2025. Up to now, the last houses are being urgently completed so that people can soon stabilize their lives and settle down.
To achieve the above results, Tuyen Quang province has mobilized resources for implementation, especially in the process of implementing the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses at all levels, assigning specific tasks to each cadre with a specific time frame.
Ms. Pham Thi Hong Yen - Secretary of the Bac Me District Party Committee said that the commune has assigned each member of the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee to be in charge of visiting the village, civil servants in charge of each household from the start of construction until completion and directly resolving difficulties and problems for the people.
"From the assignment of responsibility, the commune has mobilized forces to participate in supporting working days, transporting materials and mobilizing social resources to ensure the elimination of temporary houses for households," Ms. Yen shared.
