On January 30, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province solemnly organized the 3/2 Party Badge Awarding Ceremony associated with a meeting to celebrate the Party and Binh Ngo Spring 2026.
In the atmosphere of meeting to celebrate the Party and Binh Ngo Spring, Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee solemnly organized the 3.2th Party Badge awarding ceremony for party members. According to the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the whole province has 1,096 party members awarded and posthumously awarded Party Badges, of which 1,086 comrades were awarded, and 10 comrades were posthumously awarded.
At the ceremony, the Provincial Party Committee solemnly awarded Party Badges to 57 senior Party members aged 60 to 80 years of Party membership and comrades under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. This is a recognition and gratitude for the persistent efforts, training, and dedication of Party members through many revolutionary stages.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Van Lau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, sent New Year wishes of health and happiness to delegates, officials, party members and people.
The Provincial Party Secretary recalled the 96-year glorious tradition of the Communist Party of Vietnam; affirming that in 2025, the province completed and exceeded 23/29 Resolution targets, poverty reduction work achieved sustainable results, the poverty rate is still 0.88%, and near-poverty is 1.94%.
Stepping into 2026, Mr. Tran Van Lau requested the entire provincial political system to continue to innovate thinking and act more drastically and effectively; focus on building a clean and strong Party and political system; creating breakthroughs in socio-economic development.
Along with that, the province focuses on investing in infrastructure, ensuring social security; and at the same time leading and directing the successful organization of the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.
