Spreading strongly
Every year, the Provincial Federation of Labor issues documents directing and guiding trade unions at all levels to launch emulation, sign treaties and register to implement projects, models and initiatives, especially during peak periods to celebrate important political events of the country and the province.
In the period of 2020 - 2025, the movement "Good workers, Creative workers", "Improving productivity and quality", "Union accompanies the sustainable development of enterprises, for jobs and the lives of workers" achieved many outstanding results. The whole province has 1,231 projects, models, and practical jobs implemented, of which 112 projects have signs celebrating major holidays and political events. In particular, 62,335 topics and initiatives were recognized and effectively applied, benefiting more than 60 billion VND; 225 initiatives won prizes at the Provincial Technical Innovation Competition; 117 initiatives were awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" movement is implemented synchronously in 100% of units and enterprises with trade unions, thereby contributing to building a safe working environment, reducing occupational accidents and diseases.
For female employees, the movement "Good at public affairs, good at housework" associated with "Women who actively study, work creatively, build a prosperous, equal, progressive, and happy family" has been widely implemented. The movement "Innovation, creativity, efficiency in trade union activities", "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees compete to practice office culture", "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees say no to negativity" also achieved positive results.
Linked with political tasks and social security
A highlight in the past 5 years is that the emulation movements of trade unions have always been closely linked to major movements of the locality and the whole country such as "Building new rural areas", "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods". Through these movements, hundreds of billions of VND have been mobilized and contributed to social security programs, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of union members and people in the province.
Notable results are that in the period of 2020-2025, 02 collectives and 04 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister; 02 individuals were awarded the First Class Labor Medal by the President; 04 individuals were awarded the Second Class Labor Medal. In addition, 1,319 collectives and 2,686 individuals received the Emulation Flag and Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Federation of Labor.
Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, President of the Provincial Federation of Labor affirmed: "The patriotic emulation movements launched by the Trade Union have gradually innovated in both content and form, creating a vibrant atmosphere in work, production and study. Many good models and creative ways of doing things have been spread, many advanced models have been discovered and honored, making an important contribution to building a strong trade union organization and promoting the socio-economic development of the province.
Innovation, creativity and efficiency
Entering the 2025-2030 period, Dong Thap Trade Union continues to identify the patriotic emulation movement as an important driving force to improve productivity, quality and work efficiency. Trade unions at all levels will focus on launching movements associated with the implementation of the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress, the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the 11th Congress of the Dong Thap General Confederation of Labor.
The focus is on continuing to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement Directive No. 34-CT/TW of the Politburo on innovation in emulation and reward work. At the same time, focus on discovering, nurturing and widely propagating typical advanced collectives and individuals, especially new factors, to encourage, set an example and replicate throughout the trade union system.
With the spirit of continuous innovation, Dong Thap Trade Union enters a new phase with the determination to improve the quality of emulation movements, considering this a strong driving force to build a strong trade union organization, meeting the development requirements of the province in the period of integration and digital transformation.
