According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, the report at the conference stated: 2024 is the third year of implementing Project No. 04/DA-BCA dated May 21, 2021 of the Ministry of Public Security on "Innovation of university admission work, new admission procedures in the People's Public Security".
The Ministry of Public Security's assessment exam is one of the four leading university entrance exams in the country with a high number of candidates registering to apply.
The People's Public Security academies and schools have basically implemented the assigned enrollment targets, in which the new enrollment targets reached a high rate of 99.76%.
2024 is also the first year that the Ministry of Public Security has innovated the university admission work for People's Public Security officers, changing the admission method from entrance exams to admission according to the policy of the Party Committee of Public Security and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To suggested that the Public Security of units, localities, academies and schools of the People's Public Security should well implement the following tasks and solutions:
Continuing to raise awareness and raise awareness of enrollment work, this is the first step with a very important position and role in selecting students to ensure conditions and standards for training in public security academies and schools.
Request the Department of Training to proactively advise on the implementation of the summary of the Project for innovation of new regular university admissions in the People's Public Security for the period 2023 - 2025 and propose directions for implementing enrollment in the period 2026 - 2030; proactively follow the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Public Security to manage and guide the Public Security of units, localities and People's Public Security academies and schools to organize enrollment in the People's Public Security;
Strengthen inspection, at the same time grasp the difficulties and problems of the Public Security of units, localities, academies and schools of the People's Public Security to advise solutions for units; limit errors and negligence in the process of implementing the People's Public Security recruitment work.
Coordinate research and proposals to innovate training and fostering of cadres, in accordance with each level of the Public Security according to the new organizational model.
The Department of Organization and Personnel needs to proactively advise and report to the Ministry's leaders to approve the training and fostering targets for cadres in the 2025-2026 school year to promptly implement according to the regulations and rules of the Ministry of Education and Training and the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
