The Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism must always "keep the rhythm" and create a "new rhythm"
This morning (6.), the 1st Party Congress of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) for the 2025-2030 term solemnly opened at the Opera House (Hanoi).
The Congress was attended by members of the Party Central Committee: Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh; Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee Le Thi Thuy; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung.
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said that the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2025 - 2030 term took place in the context of the country facing new development opportunities, but also intertwined with many challenges.
According to Minister Nguyen Van Hung, the Congress took place at a time when the Party, State and the entire political system have been synchronously implementing historic decisions, strategic breakthroughs to bring the country firmly into a new era - an era of strong and prosperous development with the highlight being revolutions in organizing the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, strong, efficient, effective and efficient; implementing the model of local government at 2 levels; developing science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; promoting international integration; developing the private economy as a key lever, creating new opportunities for the strong development of the country in general and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in particular in the new period.
The above trendy requirements for the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism always have to keep the rhythm and create a new rhythm. Conserving the rhythm is to maintain core values, keep the flow of ethnic culture from being lost, maintain stability in organization, belief, and morality. Creating a new rhythm is to promote courage, create new momentum for development, create a creative flow in leadership ideology, create a creative breakthrough in the field that the Ministry is managing and governing.
Minister Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that it is necessary to deeply absorb the viewpoint: Cultural development is the cause of the entire Party and people; the task of building and developing culture is led by the Party, managed by the State, the People are the creative subject; the team of intellectuals and artists plays an important role. Culture is a large field, the soul of the nation. The task of the entire Party Committee is to make great efforts and be determined to build an advanced culture with strong national identity to confidently enter the new era.
Opening a new development journey
Minister Nguyen Van Hung affirmed that these are major issues of decisive significance to the development of the Ministry and the culture, sports and tourism sector, not only in the short term but also in the long term and strategic vision, so he suggested that the delegates focus on spending time, intelligence, and enthusiasm to evaluate, explain, discuss and decide in the direction of looking ahead, thinking big, and renewing themselves.
In addition, the Congress is responsible for contributing opinions to the Draft Political Report of the Government Party Committee's Executive Committee submitted to the 1st Government Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and documents of the 13th Party Central Committee submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.
"With the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party organization; solidarity, discipline, responsibility; innovation; drastic action, aspiration to contribute" and the spirit: "Culture is the foundation - Information is the guiding principle - Sports is the strength - Tourism is the bridge connecting principle", we believe that the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, term 2025 - 2030 will be a great success, opening a new, strong, comprehensive development stage for Vietnamese culture and people in the new era, making worthy contributions to the implementation of the country's development goals by 2030 when our Party celebrates its 100th anniversary (1930 - 2030); towards realizing the vision to 2045 anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (1945 - 2045) that our Party - People's Republic of Vietnam - Vietnam - Vietnam emphasized," Mr. Nguyen - Hung Huy Hung emphasized.
