On February 25, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Chief of Office of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee signed a notice of the conclusion of Provincial Chairman Nguyen Tan Tuan at the meeting with leaders of the new Departments after the restructuring of the apparatus.

Yesterday, Chairman of Khanh Hoa province Nguyen Tan Tuan worked with the collective leadership of the Departments (including Directors, Deputy Directors, representatives of Party committees of agencies before the arrangement): Home Affairs, Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Science and Technology, Education and Training, Health, Ethnic Minorities and Religions, Provincial People's Committee Office; representatives of the leaders of the Department of Justice, Provincial Police.

According to the plan, by January 1 at the latest, the organization of the new apparatus must operate smoothly, without affecting other professional tasks, the normal operations of society, people and businesses.

To achieve this plan, the Chairman of Khanh Hoa province requested the Party Committee and leaders of the Department to continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity and unity among the leadership; continue to carry out well the ideological work for civil servants, public employees and workers, create consensus, strive for the common tasks of the agency and the province.

Urgently stabilize the organization and operation according to the new apparatus; adjust budget estimates, funding, assets, equipment, offices; manage records, books, documents, and papers; issue new working regulations...

The collective of departments and branches also needs to urgently carry out procedures for registering stamp samples and handing over stamps.

In the immediate future, the functions, tasks and powers of the agency before the arrangement will continue to be implemented by the agency receiving those functions, tasks and powers. Review backlogged work and transitional work from the Departments before reorganization to resolve it completely.

In early February 2025, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council passed many Resolutions on merging, consolidating, and establishing departments.

These are the Resolutions on the establishment of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of state management of religion from the Department of Home Affairs; establishing the Department of Science and Technology on the basis of merging the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology; establishing the Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs; establishing the Department of Finance on the basis of merging the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also passed a resolution to establish a Department of Construction on the basis of merging the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction; establish a Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; establish a Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the basis of merging the Department of Tourism and the Department of Culture and Sports; establish an Provincial People's Committee Office on the basis of merging the Department of Foreign Affairs into the Provincial People's Committee Office.

According to this submission of the Department of Home Affairs, the newly merged departments will have 1 director and 4-5 deputy directors.
