Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc has just signed Directive No. 15/CT-TTg dated May 30, 2025 of the Prime Minister on strengthening compliance with legal regulations on prices.
According to the Directive, the Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to review and handle legal documents on prices that are no longer in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents and the Law on Prices.
Issuing documents on prices under its authority in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Prices and the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents.
Review and abolish administrative procedures in the field of prices that are no longer in accordance with current legal regulations, creating favorable conditions for organizations and individuals trading in goods and services.
Urgently issue legal documents according to authority regulating the economic and technical characteristics of goods and services on the List of goods and services performing price stabilization, state valuation, and price declaration.
Regarding state valuation, the Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to direct, assign and provide clear guidance on the authority and responsibility of units and organizations responsible for preparing, appraising, and submitting price plans and strictly comply with regulations on valuation procedures, price adjustment, principles and valuation methods.
For public services implementing the market price roadmap, State-value items need to proactively review price formation factors, carefully assess the impact on the socio-economy, target inflation to have appropriate price adjustment plans.
Promote digital transformation in implementing state management of prices; build and perfect methods of receiving price declarations on the network environment in appropriate forms to ensure feasibility.
Urgently build and complete data on prices for declaration of items under the management authority to connect and update into the National Price Database according to regulations.
The Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to continue directing relevant agencies and units under their management and organizations and individuals trading in goods and services to strictly implement the provisions of the Price Law on publicizing information on prices.
Regularly direct and organize the implementation of guidance and inspection of the disclosure of information on prices, contributing to the consensus of people and society in state management of prices.
Increase transparency of market price information and create favorable conditions for organizations and individuals in law enforcement.
Strengthen price inspection to ensure that relevant agencies, organizations and individuals comply with legal regulations, ensuring objectivity and transparency.
Timely detect and prevent violations of the law on prices, unreasonable price increases, strictly handle cases of price manipulation of goods and services, false price increases...
