
The cooperation agreement between ABBank and Vieted Group not only promotes the development of agricultural value chains but also expands the opportunity to access the financial group for the weak group of poor, near -poor and small and medium enterprises (SMES). The signing ceremony was witnessed by representatives of the Australian Embassy, Vietnam Banking Association and international organizations such as Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency, Save The Children Vietnam and Great Project - units that are implementing livelihood support programs for people in many localities.

According to the agreement, in the next 5 years, ABBANK and VietED Group will coordinate to provide financial products, including suitable loan packages for poor, near-poor farming households and agricultural value chain owners. The two sides will also apply digital technology to increase operational efficiency and financial management.
A highlight of the cooperation is the establishment of the "Green Synergy Group" (GSG). This will be the strategic part in charge of developing microfinance products, sustainable agricultural value chain models, application of technology and evaluation of ESG (Environment - Society - Governance) initiatives.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Duy Hieu - General Director of ABBANK emphasized: Cooperation with VietED Group clearly demonstrates ABBANK's commitment to serving the community. We believe that effective business must go hand in hand with sustainable human development through investment in capacity, health, education and happiness.

Mr. Raj Kumar - Director of VietED Group expressed: "When finance and knowledge go together, the community will be self-reliant. The support of ABBANK will be a catalyst for VietED to realize comprehensive and equitable capital access solutions".

Representative of the Vietnam Banking Association, Mr. Tran Van Tan - Vice President - shared: ABBANK and VietED are organizations with a big heart. Today's event is a combination of capital, technology, knowledge and passion, towards a more sustainable future".

Ms. Catherine Anne McWilliam - First Secretary for Development, Australian Embassy in Hanoi, commented: "If properly supported, 15 million ethnic minorities will become a potential and sustainable market for the bank.This cooperation will promote financial inclusion, improve quality of life and actively contribute to agricultural and tourism growth.
Previously, ABBANK implemented a sustainable development strategy since November 2024, notably applying the Environmental - Social Management System (ESMS) and establishing the ESG Strategy Committee in January 2025. The bank also made its mark through community activities such as the "Green An Binh - Green Vietnam" forest planting project, supporting flood-affected areas, building schools in mountainous areas and housing for policy households.
The cooperation between ABBANK and VietED Group is closely linked to Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in innovation and national digital transformation. The cooperation programs not only focus on financial solutions but also promote awareness of green economy, circular economy and preservation of national cultural heritage.
