Attending the seminar were Mr. Le Anh Tuan - Deputy General Director, Chairman of CIC Trade Union, Head of CIC Women's Advancement Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang - Deputy General Director of CIC and more than 100 CIC staff. Directly participating in teaching and sharing was the speaker - Dr. Nguyen Phu Tan Huong - Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy, Diplomatic Academy.
The seminar took place in a joyful and exciting atmosphere with many useful lessons on social etiquette in foreign communication or in daily life shared and discussed between the speaker and CIC staff.
At the seminar, the speaker shared a lot of useful knowledge about social etiquette, principles and regulations in reception work for delegates and guests that need to be followed when meeting partners (greeting, shaking hands, demeanor, dress code, etc.), inviting guests to events and organizing/participating in parties (seating arrangements, table setup, notes on the table, etc.); along with many practical experiences on social etiquette in foreign affairs of our Party and State as well as of some other major countries such as the UK, the US, etc.
In addition, the speaker's experiences in foreign affairs and memories of participating in diplomatic missions and the Vietnamese Embassy in Türkiye shared contributed to making the lecture more lively, thereby receiving the attention and listening attention of all CIC staff participating in the discussion.
At the end of the seminar, the speaker hoped that the sharing at the seminar would help CIC officers become skillful and sophisticated communicators in daily life, and at the same time be polite and exemplary hosts/guests in future cooperation and foreign affairs events.
