The ceremony was attended by a high-ranking delegation of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and senior leaders of the National Assembly, the Government of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the capital Vientiane.
Holiday Inn & Suites Vientiane Hotel is part of a 5-star hotel complex project - commercial center and class A office jointly invested by BIM Group and the Lao Ministry of Security. It is a typical project with an important role and position in the cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
The project has a total investment of 90.75 million USD, of which phase 1 was put into operation in 2017, including the 5-star Crowne Plaza Vientiane hotel and an office block with nearly 6,000m2 of leasable area. Phase 2 of the project includes the Holiday Inn & Suites Vientiane hotel, expanded convention center and a class A office-commercial complex.
Holiday Inn & Suites Vientiane is located in a prime location in the heart of Chanthabouly district, just 15 minutes from Wattay International Airport. The 10-storey Holiday Inn & Suites Vientiane offers 273 rooms including 203 standard rooms and 64 luxury suites, a conference center with a total area of nearly 3,000 m2, European and Asian restaurants, an international standard fitness center, a commercial complex with a food court and class A offices.

This hotel marks the 6th project in Vietnam and Laos that BIM Group has cooperated with IHG Hotels & Resorts, following hotels and resorts such as Regent Phu Quoc, InterContinental Phu Quoc, InterContinental Halong Bay, InterContinental Thanh Xuan Valley, and Crowne Plaza Vientiane.

The inauguration of Holiday Inn & Suites Vientiane coincides with the 62nd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos. This is also a milestone marking the 8 luxury hotels and resorts developed and put into operation by BIM Group in Vietnam and neighboring countries.
