For the first time, a Vietnamese educational institution has joined the "Globally recommended private schools" group of Spear's Schools Index 2026, marking a new step forward.

Positioning quality private schools recognized on a global scale

Brighton College Vietnam has just been officially honored as "Top Recommended Private School Globally" in the prestigious Spear’s Schools Index 2026 ranking, becoming the first representative of Vietnam to be included in this evaluation group.

The Spear’s Schools Index ranking is published annually - one of the world's leading prestigious education assessment systems, implemented by Spear's Magazine in collaboration with educational consulting organization Thuso Group.

The ranking evaluates schools based on a wide range of criteria, from academic results, teaching quality to the learning environment, level of interest in each student and the values they bring after the education process. Even schools with outstanding academic achievements may not be selected for ranking if they do not meet comprehensive development standards.

Notably, the "Globally recommended private schools" category only selects a limited number of schools maintaining stable quality. The fact that an educational institution in Vietnam participates for the first time shows that the requirement lies not only in the training results, but also in the consistency in strategy and operation.

A representative of Brighton College Vietnam said that to participate in the assessment process, the school has provided a comprehensive evidence system, from academics to extracurricular activities and student care. "This is recognition for a long-term development process, rather than a short-term result," the school representative said.

Participating in Spear’s Schools Index 2026 contributes to positioning Brighton College Vietnam in the group of quality private schools recognized on a global scale.

The door opens to global connection

Inheriting nearly 200 years of legacy from the most prestigious private school in the United Kingdom, Brighton College Vietnam develops an international education program for students aged 3 to 18. The academic roadmap is designed throughout, closely connected from the UK National Program to IGCSE and International Baccalaureate (IBDP). The teaching method is personalized, aiming to develop the individual abilities of each student.

A diverse extracurricular activity system - from sports, arts to academic clubs - helps students develop comprehensively and gradually define personal goals in a global environment.

At Brighton College Vietnam, curiosity, confidence and compassion are "DNA" present in every learning experience. The school encourages students to ask questions, challenge themselves and form a lifelong learning spirit. At the same time, the school environment values respect and understanding, helping each student develop their personal identity in a safe and positive community.

Above all, each student grows up in a community that values compassion, where they are listened to, understood and respected with their own identity. From that foundation, Brighton College Vietnam pursues a consistent goal: accompanying and inspiring each student to become the best version of themselves.
