Accordingly, more than 240 employees of the Maintenance and Repair Department (BDSC) and the Office Block of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) participated in planting trees at Dung Quat Oil Refinery.

This activity is part of the cultural program "One Team, One Goal" and aims to protect the environment, minimize climate change, and create landscape for Dung Quat Refinery.
The tree planting program was launched and organized by the BDSC Board and the BSR Office Block with the participation of nearly 250 employees of the BDSC Board and the Office Block.

Employees joined hands to plant 2,500 trees on both sides of the road leading to Dung Quat Oil Refinery Observation Deck (Salt Hill). The total area of the tree planting area of the program is nearly 6,000m2.
The tree planting area is an empty lot, mixed with many small bushes and wild plants and does not affect neighboring structures such as embankments, roads, electric poles, etc.

In addition to tree planting activities, the BDSC Board and the Office Block also organized clearing and clearing of wild plants to create landscapes and planted new poplar trees. This type of tree is easy to grow, easy to develop, suitable for the climate at the factory and has thick roots to help prevent landslides.

Mr. Tran Tan Chuc - Head of BDSC Department shared that after the program was launched, many employees of BDSC Department and the Office registered to participate.
On the day of the tree planting activity, nearly 250 workers completed planting 2,500 trees on both sides of the road leading to the Sau tree hill. The trees planted in the program were funded by the contributions of many workers.
“The tree planting program is organized to respond to the environmental protection movement and minimize the impact of climate change.
At the same time, the program helps improve safety, prevent landslides and create a green - clean - beautiful space at Dung Quat Refinery. The activity also aims to contribute to Vietnam's commitment to reduce emissions to 0 (Net Zero).
In addition, the program also creates opportunities for all employees of the BDSC Board and the Office to increase communication and sharing. Thereby, promoting the pioneering role in the environmental protection movement, exemplary participation and promoting awareness of nature protection, contributing to building a green, clean and beautiful working environment for the Factory" - Mr. Chuc shared.

Dung Quat Refinery has an area of over 800 hectares, located in Binh Tri Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai Province. With its location next to the Central Coast, the factory is often affected by natural disasters such as tropical depressions, storms, etc.

Although the factory is always absolutely safe, the trees in the factory premises cannot avoid being broken, fallen, or damaged. Therefore, the regeneration and planting of new trees is always of interest and care to BSR and many employees.
