On November 26, the Award Ceremony of the Red Star Award - Outstanding Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs 2025 took place in Hanoi. Mr. Do Quang Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors cum Deputy General Director of SHB Bank, Chairman of SHS Board of Directors was honored to be present in the TOP 10 most outstanding entrepreneurs of this year's Red Star Award.
The Red Star Award is a prestigious award chaired by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association Central Committee, held periodically every 3 years.
The award is organized with a voting process including 3 rounds: Preliminary selection, Real-world appraisal at the candidate enterprise and Final selection. This year, the program continues to consider awarding the title TOP 100 Typical Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs. In which, the 10 most outstanding young entrepreneurs are awarded the Red Star Award.

Born in 1989, Mr. Do Quang Vinh is currently one of the most prominent young entrepreneurs in the Finance - Banking sector. With innovative, dynamic and strategic vision, Mr. Vinh is leading the journey of comprehensive and strong transformation of SHB and SHS towards digitalization, modernization and international integration, towards the goal of becoming leading financial institutions in the region.
Before taking on the leadership role at SHB, Mr. Do Quang Vinh had time to study and work abroad, accumulating rich experience in financial management, investment and business administration. With a youthful, creative and decisive leadership style, he brought a new breeze to SHB and SHS, focusing on developing young human resources, applying financial technology and expanding strategic cooperation with international partners.
In just 9 months of 2025, SHS completed and exceeded 100% of the annual plan, total assets increased by 57% compared to the same period last year. In particular, in August 2025, SHS for the first time achieved a market capitalization of more than 1 billion USD - a milestone of symbolic significance, marking maturity and being recognized by the market both in terms of financial capacity and development prospects.
Meanwhile, SHB is currently in the Top 5 largest private joint-stock commercial banks in Vietnam in terms of charter capital, Top 10 most reputable private joint-stock commercial banks in Vietnam (according to Vietnam Report), and Top 200 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia announced by Fortune magazine (USA).
