Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) continues to affirm its research and innovation capacity when having 13 award-winning solutions, including 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 4 Third Prizes and 6 Consolation Prizes at the 18th Da Nang City Technical Innovation Contest.

The program is organized by the Da Nang City Union of Science and Technology Associations in coordination with the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Education and Training, the City Labor Federation and the Da Nang City Youth Union.
According to the Organizing Committee, this year's contest recorded many projects and solutions with high practical value, focusing on the fields of digital transformation, automation, artificial intelligence, energy and technology serving smart city development.
Da Nang City has selected 20 solutions to participate in the National Technical Innovation Contest, of which 9 solutions won prizes. Da Nang is also assessed by the Central Organizing Committee as one of the localities with a vibrant and highly effective scientific and technical innovation movement.
Prominent among EVNCPC's projects is the solution "NEXATUS solar power monitoring and control device" researched and developed by the author group Thai Thanh Nam and colleagues of the Central Power Electronics Measuring Equipment Production Center.
The solution won the First Prize at the city level, and also won the Consolation Prize at the National Technical Innovation Contest. This is a solution that contributes to improving the efficiency of monitoring and controlling solar power systems, meeting the requirements of energy transition and smart grid development.
The two second prize-winning solutions at the Contest include: "Research and manufacture of online monitoring and warning devices on the low voltage side of distribution substations" by the Central Power Electronics Equipment Production Center and "Big Data Analysis for remote measurement and multi-level warning algorithm for recognition of self-produced and self-consumed rooftop solar power without registration" by EVNCPC in coordination with Da Nang Power Company.
In particular, the project "Research and manufacture of online monitoring and warning devices on the low voltage side of distribution substations" by author Ngo Tan Cu and colleagues of EVNCPC won the Second Prize at the city level, and also won the Second Prize of the Vietnam National Science and Technology Innovation Award in 2025. The project is highly appreciated for its practical applicability, contributing to improving the ability to monitor operation and early warn of incidents on the distribution grid.

The four third prize-winning solutions include: "Building a high-density data digitization tool on a digital map to automatically support the design of longitudinal cross-sections of construction investment projects" by Central Power Information Technology Company and Da Nang Power Company; "Research and application of artificial intelligence for early diagnosis of potential problems in transformers using the dissolved gas (DGA) analysis method" by Central Power Experimentation One Member Limited Liability Company and Central Power Electronics Electronics Equipment Production Center; "Building a smart voltage adjustment system on the Da Nang city distribution grid" and "Research, manufacture and application of automatic meter bending and cutting machines to improve production efficiency" by authors and author groups of EVNCPC and Da Nang Power Company.
Six consolation prize-winning solutions include: "Solutions for scanning, transmitting and receiving data for safe and secure power system operation into SCADA/DMS systems" and "Exploying SCADA data to improve the quality of power grid operation monitoring" of Central Power Information Technology Company; "Research and manufacture equipment for monitoring and calculating oil temperature and porcelain input temperature in transformer testing" of Central Power Laboratory Co., Ltd. in coordination with EVNCPC; "Research, design, manufacture equipment to support the positioning of wire contact points after the meter" of Da Nang Power Company; "Coordinating the function of protecting phase loss and SCADA configuration to cut MC/Recloser/LBS when wire breakage occurs to ensure safety for people and equipment" of EVNCPC in coordination with Da Nang Power Company and "IoT programming training equipment set" of Central Power College.
