According to Resolution 42 of the 13th Party Central Committee, the goal is to basically eliminate temporary houses by 2030, with no more poor households. Thanks to the consensus of the whole society, the program was completed 5 years early, supporting the construction and repair of more than 334,000 houses, mobilizing nearly 25,000 billion VND and millions of working days. In that general result, HDBank and its member units of Sovico Group have supported nearly 2,600 shelters.
The program "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" is one of 250 key projects and works to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, affirming its profound humanistic meaning and spreading across the country.
Accompanying the emulation movement launched by the Government, HDBank considers community development as a regular activity associated with comprehensive financial goals. Thousands of shelters not only eliminate worries about housing, but are also a place to live in so that people can work with peace of mind, escape poverty, and contribute to building new rural areas.
In parallel, HDBank also implements many social security projects: building schools, awarding scholarships, giving insurance cards, supporting health, promoting high-tech agriculture, clean energy and expanding digital finance... Thereby creating the image of a modern, humane HDBank - where customers, communities and staff can nurture and share happiness.
The Prime Minister's award of a Certificate of Merit affirms HDBank's pioneering role in implementing a sustainable development strategy, accompanying the Government to bring comprehensive finance to all regions of the country, for a happier life.
