Specifically, 3 young adult players from Nutifood Football Academy have been named in the list of players traveling to Indonesia this time, including: striker Nguyen Quoc Viet, center back Pham Ly Duc and Nguyen Nhat Minh.

Among the 3 players, Nguyen Quoc Viet is the striker with the most experience in international competition, having won the 2023 U23 Southeast Asian Championship with the Vietnam team.

Previously, U23 Vietnam had reduced from 35 to 28 players after two practice matches with U23 Taipei, China. The official list of 23 players will continue to be finalized for the last time on July 12, based on their form, ability to meet tactics and competition for each position.

In the group stage, U23 Vietnam is in Group B with U23 Laos and U23 Cambodia, respectively competing on July 19 and 22.
