On the morning of January 16, 2025, at Mailand Hanoi City, Bac An Khanh, Hoai Duc, Hanoi, the Home Hanoi Xuan 2025 flower street officially opened, welcoming visitors from all over the world to visit and experience the brilliant space, imbued with the traditional Vietnamese New Year.
On the same day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a Cultural Diplomacy Program with the theme "Vietnamese Tet Concert," with the participation of nearly 150 delegates, female ambassadors, ambassadors' spouses, female diplomats, etc.
Held from January 16 to February 3, 2025 (ie December 17 to the 6th day of Tet), with the theme "Vietnamese Tet Harmony", this year's Home Hanoi Xuan uses musical materials from familiar folk melodies to new contemporary sounds to tell a meaningful story about the cultural values of Vietnamese Tet through the ages, bringing new and creative emotions while still ensuring the quintessence of the country's heritage for generations.
On the very first day of opening, Home Hanoi Xuan 2025 attracted many visitors to visit, enjoy and explore traditional Tet activities.
The experiences of walking along the flower street by cyclo like in Hanoi's Old Quarter or the culinary quintessence on the Pont De Long Bien walking street... have left a good impression in the hearts of international friends.
Performing arts activities with strong traditional imprints are also taking place throughout the Pont De Long Bien walking street such as: Mr. Do giving calligraphy at the beginning of spring, water puppetry, embroidery, singing Chau Van, Quan Ho... will bring visitors to find the beauty of Vietnamese art and enjoy the poetic moments of early spring, filled with peaceful emotions.
In 2025, it will be exactly 5 years since Home Hanoi Xuan flower street was organized under the project to bring Hanoi into the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. During that journey, a series of initiatives and solutions have been implemented to promote sustainable development. In particular, Mailand Hanoi City, with its strong commitment to nurturing cultural and creative values, has made an important contribution to affirming the position of the capital through many activities, notably the flower street.
This is also the destination for cultural and artistic diplomacy activities, providing a space to experience the practical national identity that only exists on the traditional Vietnamese New Year for locals and international visitors.
The Home Hanoi Xuan 2025 Flower Street becomes even more meaningful when it is the place where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organizes a cultural diplomacy program. In the cool weather, green buds and spring flowers are in full bloom; with the joyful and excited spirit of people when Tet comes, the cultural diplomacy program "Vietnamese Tet Harmony" has left a deep impression, full of culture in the hearts of female ambassadors, ambassadors' wives and many delegates and international friends.
Through the program, the image of the rich Vietnamese Tet was conveyed to international delegates in an interesting way. Not only that, the appearance of the Ladies emphasized the importance of women in society, not only spreading good community values but also making joint efforts to foster friendship, connecting friends around the world, bringing Vietnam into a new era, reaching higher in the international arena.

In 2019, Hanoi joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, the Home Hanoi Xuan Flower Street Festival became an annual cultural event held from 2020 to present, as one of the contents supporting the implementation of commitments, expanding creative cultural spaces in Hanoi.
