Unlike traditional repair methods, Hotline technology allows connection, equipment replacement and incident handling right on the power grid carrying a voltage of up to 22kV.
Thanks to that, the repair was carried out without power outages, ensuring normal production - business and daily life of the people of the capital.
It is estimated that in 2024, the Hotline team will have performed 1,430 repair sessions, with an average working time of 2.5 hours, equivalent to a reduction of over 3,500 hours of power outage for customers.
This is a telling number, showing the direct and positive impact of heat repair technology on the goal of improving the reliability of power supply of Hanoi Electricity Corporation (EVNHANOI).
Hot power repair is a particularly dangerous task, requiring strict compliance with safety procedures, repair operations on the power grid must be very proficient. Therefore, before each working session, the working group carefully inspects protective equipment.

Safety protection procedures will be completely different from traditional electrical repair procedures. The team is equipped with 02 imported 100kV fully electric blockers.
Each worker is equipped with gloves, 22kV rubber protective hammocks, hats, protective boots and labor tools... All machinery and tools are imported from countries with leading technology in the world such as the United States and Japan.
Not only is the expertise and characteristics of hot-ctor repair work also require workers to be healthy, have a strong mentality and a high sense of discipline, and always strictly follow labor processes.
Mr. Tran Duc Nghi - Deputy Head of the Hotline Team - said that repairing Hotline electricity has many characteristics and must work in an environment with many potential risks.
To become Hotline repair workers, all members are selected from highly skilled electricity workers, good health, and a strong mentality from 30 Power Companies under EVNHANOI.
Currently, the team has 19 members with an average age of young people, who are trained and fully trained in repair work on the 22kV power line at reputable heat repair facilities.

Mr. Do Hong Thang - Captain of the Hotline Team said that this work has strict requirements because it is done on a power line, also known as "backbone", so it is only allowed to be done when there is enough light, not done at night, or when it rains.
Although the work of repairing hot-ctor appliances faces many dangers, the team members all affirmed that if the process is followed correctly, the work will be operated smoothly and safely.
Every member feels very happy every time they have finished their work, because their efforts have brought joy to everyone, contributing to the overall success of the electricity industry.
The Hotline team is the leading force in realizing the commitment to constantly improving the quality of electricity supply, meeting the increasingly high expectations of the people of the capital.
From each operation on the live power line, they are quietly contributing to a safe - continuous - reliable operating power system, for a sustainable development of Hanoi.
