Promoting “Digitalization and Greening”
In its sustainable development strategy, Nam A Bank is implementing a comprehensive financial model with two main pillars: “digital” and “green”. In addition, Nam A Bank continues to lead in the field of green credit. Over the years, Nam A Bank has "greened" its credit portfolio, continuously building a diverse portfolio of green credit products. The bank has deployed a green credit value chain with a focus on the agriculture, aquaculture and renewable energy sectors. The bank aims to increase the proportion of green credit to 20 - 25% (2 - 3 times the current proportion).
The power of “digitalization and greening” is a core strategy, an effective tool to support the Bank to continuously make breakthroughs in growth, improve competitiveness, and create a great mark in the market. To quickly realize this strategy, Nam A Bank has established specialized committees to effectively and promptly support the above goals, including: Digital Transformation Committee, Green Banking Committee and ESG Committee.
As of August 2024, Nam A Bank's accumulated pre-tax profit reached more than 75% of the annual plan. The ROE ratio reached 21.46%, ROA was 1.65%, showing that the Bank not only grew in scale but also achieved high profitability. Nam A Bank's NIM ratio continued to improve to 3.8% (compared to 3.6% at the end of the second quarter), and it is expected that NIM from now until the end of 2024 will be maintained in the range of 3.5 - 3.8%.
Capitalization exceeds 20,000 billion VND
Nam A Bank's NAB shares were officially listed on the HoSE earlier this year. This is the only bank stock approved by HOSE to register for listing in 2023.
Listed on HoSE, Nam A Bank's NAB stock has gradually affirmed its position as one of the potential stocks, continuously setting historical prices, bringing NAB's capitalization to over VND 20,000 billion.
In addition, thanks to its strong growth potential, NAB shares continue to be included in prestigious index baskets, demonstrating Nam A Bank's efforts for sustainable, safe and effective development. Specifically, during the portfolio restructuring period in September, Fubon ETF officially added NAB shares. Previously, NAB shares were also added to the MSCI Frontier Market Index by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) during the periodic review period in August 2024.
Pioneer in implementing and operating International Risk Management Standards reports
Nam A Bank is one of the pioneering banks that proactively applied the risk management model according to the regulations of the State Bank and international standards early on such as: Basel III, Basel Reform, Advanced Basel II... Most recently, this Bank has also completed financial statements according to international standards (IFRS).
Pioneering the application of the above international practices will help Nam A Bank improve risk management and financial management in banking operations. At the same time, the transparency and soundness of financial reporting information when applying international standards will contribute to enhancing the reputation and position of Nam A Bank in the domestic and international markets.

Nam A Bank is one of the few banks that has been continuously licensed by the State Bank to establish branches and transaction offices.
In 2024, the State Bank of Vietnam will continue to approve Nam A Bank to expand its network in provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Ha Nam, Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien Hue, Dong Nai, and Binh Duong.
At the same time, the ONEBANK 365+ digital transaction network continues to expand in many localities across the country. In addition to the 100 existing points, ONEBANK plans to open 30 new points in 2024.
