    On February 18, 2019, the Prime Minister issued Document No. 211/TTg-CN agreeing to add the Phu Tho Waste-to-Energy Plant project to the National Power Development Plan.

    This project is also expected to reuse waste as a resource to recover energy for electricity generation, contributing to reducing environmental pollution caused by current household waste landfill activities.
