Creating a bridge between Vietnam Airlines and the future generation of personnel
Right from the first time it was organized, Vietnam Airlines Employment Day 2025 has proven the special attraction of the aviation industry to the younger generation. More than 1,600 students and young workers came to the event to seek career opportunities.
The event gathers nearly 25 member units of Vietnam Airlines Group, introducing 8 occupational groups from flight operations, flight attendants, engineering to commerce, services. For the first time, Vietnam Airlines' occupational ecosystem is fully recreated, showing that an airline not only has pilots or flight attendants but also hundreds of other diverse job positions.
During the festival, many students found a connection between the major and career positions at Vietnam Airlines. Duc Nguyen, a student at the Diplomatic Academy, excitedly said: "I am particularly interested in the work contents of the Legal Department because I see that this field has a lot of potential to learn and apply the knowledge I am studying. This will be the goal I want to aim for in my career journey.

In addition to experiential and consulting activities, Vietnam Airlines Job Fair 2025 also brings direct recruitment opportunities right at the booth of the Flight Attendants Team, attracting many candidates with a serious, confident and determined mindset to conquer their dreams.
Friend Phuong Hien (22 years old, Hanoi) emotionally shared after completing the competition: "The dream of becoming a flight attendant has followed me for a long time and today listening to the heartfelt sharing from the judges, I have more motivation to pursue. I am really impressed with the neat appearance, professionalism and standard demeanor of Vietnam Airlines flight attendants and hope that I will also have the opportunity to become a flight attendant.
Strengthening cooperation in training and nurturing high-quality human resources
Vietnam Airlines not only seeks candidates in the labor market but also proactively connects with educational institutions to build future human resources. Over the years, the airline has coordinated with universities to implement practical learning programs, expand internship opportunities and create direct links from schools to businesses.
Typically, the airline has agreed to cooperate in building an Aviation Engineering training program between Hanoi University of Science and Technology (USTH), Vietnam Airlines and Aviation Engineering Company Limited (VAECO). The three-party cooperation model has brought many positive results, contributing to the development of high-quality aviation human resources for Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Dang, Vice Rector of USTH, said: "From program development, output standard design, practice organization, internships, to competency assessment and recruitment orientation, all have close coordination between the parties. This approach helps ensure that students are trained in accordance with the actual needs of businesses and have the ability to work immediately after graduation.
If USTH is a technical pillar, then the University of Economics - Vietnam National University Hanoi (UEB) is a strategic partner of Vietnam Airlines in training management, economics, logistics and supply chain human resources. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Khac Lich, Vice Rector of the school, commented: "Vietnam Airlines brings an international standard ecosystem of operation management, logistics, safety, services and human management, allowing the school to deploy a research training model associated with practice, bringing global standards into the curriculum.
More importantly, according to Mr. Lich: "The practical experience at Vietnam Airlines helps students clearly define their career orientation, understand the industry, understand the job position, and understand the personal capacity they need to improve to be ready to enter the labor market.
With an open spirit and long-term orientation, Vietnam Airlines will continue to develop more career connection programs. Events such as the 2025 Job Fair have helped the airline get closer to the younger generation, thereby creating motivation for Vietnam Airlines and universities to promote training cooperation, jointly design practical learning programs and create conditions for students to soon access the international standard aviation career environment.
Building 5-star human resources
Successfully organizing the 2025 Job Fair is an important step in Vietnam Airlines' strategy to build a successor team. This is a key stage for the airline to move towards international 5-star standards, requiring a high-quality, flexible and technology-driven workforce.
Speaking at the event, General Director Le Hong Ha emphasized: "Digital transformation, artificial intelligence and new technologies are strongly changing the way the aviation industry operates. Vietnam Airlines is entering a new stage of development: more modern, greener and more competitive in the international market. To achieve that, we really need a new generation of human resources: firm knowledge, flexibility, good technology and daring to innovate.
Representatives of Vietnam Airlines' Human Resources Department said that the airline is focusing on developing digital human resources, training digital skills for staff, building digital culture throughout the system, and sending personnel to study in countries with advanced technology. In addition, the airline is also aiming to build a multi-tasking team that can play many roles, while focusing on preferential policies and retaining talents.
The 2025 Job Fair has closed, but the door leading young people to career dreams at Vietnam Airlines is still wide open, promising many new journeys to begin from here. With a professional working environment and many development opportunities, Vietnam Airlines will be a launching pad for each employee to develop their capacity and confidently "take off their careers".
