Vietnam Smile: Bringing joy to children in the highlands

THANH HƯƠNG |

The innocent but emotional smiles of children in the highlands have become the biggest motivation in the charity journey "Vietnam Smile".

"Vietnam Smile" is a community volunteer program of the Mobile Police Command with the support of The Smith company, which visited the following schools: Nan Ma Kindergarten (Nan Ma commune, Xin Man district, Ha Giang province); Pa Vay Su Kindergarten (Pa Vay Su commune, Xin Man district, Ha Giang province); Nan Xin Kindergarten (Nan Xin commune, Xin Man district, Ha Giang province); Tan Thanh Kindergarten (Tan Thanh commune, Ham Yen district, Tuyen Quang province); Minh Tien Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Minh Huong commune, Ham Yen district, Tuyen Quang province); Kien Thiet Primary School (Kien Thiet commune, Yen Son district, Tuyen Quang province); Khang Nhat Kindergarten (Khang Nhat commune, Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province).

When the volunteer group arrived at the schools, they were greeted by the clear eyes and bright smiles of the local children. Although life is still full of hardships, especially after Typhoon Yagi, the children still maintain their innocence and joy of life.

The delegation not only brought material goods but also smiles, optimism and strength. Not only did it bring immediate joy to the people of the highlands, but it also sowed the seeds of kindness and community spirit. The warm smiles will continue to spread, inspiring many others to join hands for a better society.

Under the leadership of CEO Huynh Tien, members of The Smith Company directly participated in preparing gifts such as backpacks, cakes, milk, rice, etc. for children in difficult circumstances. With the help of the Mobile Police Command, playgrounds for children were transported and assembled in highland kindergartens.

Throughout the trip, smiles were always a highlight. From the encouraging smiles between the group members when they crossed the landslides and muddy roads, to the happy smiles of the children when receiving gifts. In particular, smiles were also a bridge of communication between the volunteer group and the local people, overcoming all barriers.

The image of a smile carries the metaphorical meaning of optimism, of love, of love for the homeland, people and the happiness that everyone strives for. The smile of people who know how to share, sacrifice, and help each other to create a common value of happiness. The smile of comrades of the Mobile Police Command, the unit "in charge" of the project for the disadvantaged people across the country, helping them quickly return to the joy of life. The smile of people and units accompanying THE SMITH: resonate and spread the Vietnamese spirit widely.

The Smith - a leading company in heat-insulating film technology and active in charity activities, helping people in difficult circumstances. Under the leadership of CEO Huynh Tien, The Smith has achieved success and customer trust on its own business path. In addition to business, CEO Huynh Tien also directly participates with members of The Smith company to prepare gifts such as: backpacks, cakes, milk, rice... for children in difficult circumstances. And with the help of the Mobile Police Command, playgrounds for children have been transported and assembled in highland kindergartens.
