Nutifood - The first dairy producer in Vietnam to own an ACO certified production line
Australian Certified Organic (ACO) is the leading prestigious organic certification system in Australia, granted by ACO Certification - an independent evaluation organization recognized globally. ACO standards are famous for their extremely strict, transparent and comprehensive evaluation process, requiring compliance from raw material sources, production operations, personnel management, quality control to traceability.
Nutifood became the first enterprise in Vietnam to have an ACO standard ready-to-drink formula line after a thorough ACO Certification evaluation process.
ACO standard production platform in Binh Duong
Nutifood's ACO ready-to-drink formula production line is located at a factory in My Phuoc Industrial Park, Ben Cat City, Binh Duong. Here, Nutifood has invested methodically from a high-tech equipment system imported from Germany and Sweden, a team of experts and personnel specializedly trained according to international standards, to a quality control system, process records and traceability. From quality certifications such as FDA, ISO, FSSC, Nutifood's factory continues to mark a proud milestone when it becomes the first factory in Vietnam to achieve ACO certification for the GippsNature organic A2 ready-to-drink formula production line.
Nutifood not only achieved ACO certification from the first assessment but also committed to maintaining this standard through annual periodic re-appraisal.
Mr. Tran Bao Minh - Vice Chairman of Nutifood's Board of Directors shared: "At Nutifood, quality control is not just the final step, but a continuous process throughout the value chain. ACO certification is proof of the ability to comply with strict technical standards, and at the same time is the foundation for Nutifood to pursue a long-term nutritional standard improvement strategy and meet the increasing demand for clean, pure, and high-end organic products of domestic and international consumers.

What is the Australian Organic Certificate (ACO)?
Unlike many organic certifications that only evaluate individual stages, ACO ensures comprehensive organicness throughout the value chain, from raw material supply to final product:
• Control of input materials and suppliers:
All raw materials used for the ACO product line must come from suppliers that have been validly organic certified, comply with ACO standards or equivalent international organic standards. Raw materials must be transparent about origin, non-GMO, non-growing hormone, non-artificial fertilizer, non-chemical pesticides.
• Personnel training and operational control:
All personnel participating in the organic production chain undergo in-depth training on organic standards and cross-infection prevention. Each stage has a standardization process, recorded logs and periodically independently evaluated.
• Organic preservation throughout production and storage:
Organic production lines are separated or strictly controlled from conventional products to prevent cross-contamination. All processes, areas and records comply with ACO standards.
• Long-term evaluation & continuous testing:
The conversion and certification process takes 2-3 years, and then the enterprise continues to undergo periodic audits, surprise inspections and annual assessments to ensure that organic standards are always maintained at the highest level.
Thanks to these comprehensive requirements, ACO is considered one of the most prestigious and difficult-to-achieve organic certifications in the world, trusted by international consumers as a guarantee of product quality, safety and transparency.

GippsNature Organic A2 – Standard ACO organic ready-to-drink formula
According to a survey by Rakuten Insight (2023) on nearly 5,000 users, 49% of Vietnamese people have ever bought organic milk products, and 45% are willing to pay higher for organic food. However, one of the biggest concerns of consumers is "difficulty distinguishing genuine organic standard products.
Understanding this need, Nutifood develops the GippsNature Organic A2 ready-to-drink formula line on an ACO certified production line. Expected to launch in the first quarter of 2026, the product is the next step in its commitment to providing premium, reliable, and transparent nutrition, in the context that the domestic organic milk market is still mainly dependent on imported goods.
