Hanoi - The Ministry of Education and Training has just coordinated with the Green Future Fund (Vingroup) to launch the contest "Send Green Future 2050".

The contest is a creative playground for primary and secondary school students nationwide, with the desire to arouse awareness and positive actions from the young generation in building a green, sustainable world.

The contest was first held with the theme “Share your dream of a green life on Earth in 2050”.

Cuoc thi tao co hoi de hoc sinh the hien nhung y tuong sang tao, doc dao qua ba hinh thuc: viet thu, ve tranh hoac lam video.
The contest creates opportunities for students to express their creative and unique ideas through three forms: writing letters, drawing pictures or making videos.

The works not only reflect the children's rich perspectives and imaginations, but also represent the young generation's responsibility towards the living environment and the future of the planet.

The competition consists of two groups: Primary and Secondary, with three rounds: Provincial/City round from November 2024 to December 31, 2024, National preliminary round and National final round from January to the end of February 2025.

Coming to the Final Round, the 300 best entries nationwide (including the top 150 for each category divided equally among the contest forms) selected from the preliminary round will participate in an online interview with the Jury to find the final winning works, and at the same time participate in the exhibition "Send to the Green Future 2050" season 1 taking place in Hanoi.

The total prize value of the competition is up to more than 2 billion VND, in which, in each competition form, there is 1 First prize worth 30 million VND, 5 Second prizes worth 20 million VND each, along with many Third prizes, Encouragement prizes and other Collective prizes. In particular, each student who enters the National Final round will receive a certificate from the Ministry of Education and Training and meaningful gifts.

Dr. Le Thai Ha - Director of the Green Future Fund, Vingroup Corporation, representative of the Organizing Committee of the contest - shared: "Send Green Future 2050 is not only a creative playground for students but also a place to inspire the young generation of Vietnam to boldly speak up and act for a sustainable future. We believe that the bold and creative ideas from the students will contribute to strongly spreading the green message to the community".

Cuoc thi khong chi la noi de cac em hoc sinh the hien nang luc va dam me ma con la cau noi giup lan toa thong diep xanh ben vung den cong dong.
The competition is not only a place for students to demonstrate their abilities and passion, but also a bridge to help spread the message of sustainable green to the community.

The organizers hope that through the competition, students will be inspired to turn green ideas into reality, contributing to the journey of joining hands to protect the environment and create a better future.

“Sending to the Green Future 2050” is one of four projects under the Green Education program signed by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Green Future Fund - Thien Tam Fund (Vingroup) for the period 2023 - 2028 with the aim of improving school health and raising awareness as well as practical actions to protect the environment of students.

The remaining 3 projects are the Green Voice debate contest, Green School, and Building a Green School with Me, which have been implemented since October 2023 at educational institutions from primary to university levels nationwide.

The projects not only contribute to raising awareness and urging each individual young person to join hands in “creating a green generation” but also inspire and actively build a green lifestyle in the community. In particular, the program calls on the country’s healthy owners in terms of intelligence, physical health and morality to join hands in protecting the environment, contributing to Vietnam’s national goal of “Net Zero” and combating climate change globally.

The Green Future Fund was announced by Vingroup on July 7, 2023 with the mission of contributing to the Government's goal of reducing net emissions to "0" by 2050; promoting green journeys in daily life, raising community awareness; urging each individual to act today for a green tomorrow for future generations.

By the end of 2023, the activities of the Green Future Fund and Vingroup Corporation have contributed to reducing nearly 500,000 tons of CO2 emissions, collecting 30 tons of waste and implementing many environmental protection programs, promoting a meaningful green living revolution.
