The largest display at this year's Vietnam Sustainable Mobility Exhibition (VSMS) is the VinFast car and electric motorbike display area with a powerful lineup, from VF 3, VF 5 Plus, VF 6 to VF 7, VF 8 and VF 9.
This is also the area that attracts the most visitors during the event (December 7-8). According to records, thousands of visitors came to see, explore and register to test drive VinFast electric cars. Many visitors even brought their entire family to experience their favorite electric car.
Mr. Bui Tho Quang (Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi) traveled more than 10 km to Yen So Park to test drive the VF 8. Mr. Quang is using a gasoline-powered sedan and intends to switch to an SUV with an electric engine. The VF 8 is Mr. Quang's favorite car.
“I like electric cars because they are clean and economical. I just test drove the VF 8 and found it very smooth, with no engine noise, a strong engine, and a very spacious interior. Before that, I was still researching this car, but after the test drive, I was inclined to switch to the VF 8,” said Tho Quang.
Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang (Hoang Mai, Hanoi) is also using an internal combustion engine vehicle and wants to switch to electric. He is using a diesel SUV and is interested in the VF 9.
Regarding his interest in electric vehicles, Mr. Minh Quang said the first reason is that operating costs are very economical. From free charging to maintenance costs, electric vehicles are much lower than diesel vehicles. The second reason is because of sales policy. According to Mr. Minh Quang, VinFast is a car company with very good after-sales service and creates trust for customers who have used the car for a long time.
One factor that attracts the attention of customers using gasoline and diesel vehicles who want to switch to VinFast electric vehicles is the “Trade-in – Trade-in” program. This program helps customers sell their old gasoline and diesel vehicles at a high price, and then switch to electric vehicles at a reasonable cost.
“Previously, I brought my gasoline car to a used car showroom and they offered me 730 million VND. Meanwhile, VinFast bought back the car at a much better price, with a transparent process and incentives. With such a good deal, why not switch to a VinFast car?” said Mr. Cao Duc Trung (Cau Giay District, Hanoi).
While the two top models, VF 8 and VF 9, are often of interest to customers buying cars for their families, VF 7 is especially attractive to young people with personality. Mr. Nguyen Nhat Minh (Hoang Mai, Hanoi) is one of the young customers eager to come to Yen So Park to test drive the VF 7.
Mr. Minh shared that he really likes VinFast car design, since the company released the Lux A2.0 and Lux SA2.0. Now that the company has switched to electric cars, he still follows and is especially interested in the VF 7.
At the Car Awards 2024 Gala held within the framework of VSMS 2024, VF 7 was honored as Car of the Year in the C-segment crossover segment. This model not only received high scores from the jury but was also voted by the majority of readers. The jury commented that VF 7 provides a more enjoyable driving experience than gasoline cars in the same segment.
More specifically, VF 3 has received the most prestigious award - Car of the Year 2024 - from Car Awards 2024. With its price and functionality creating a boost in the minicar segment, VF 3 promises to inspire many trends in using small high-chassis cars in Vietnam. Proof of that is not only the judges' scores, from the readers' votes, but also from the "huge" sales of this car model.
Vietnam Sustainable Mobility Show 2024 is a place to display and introduce environmentally friendly vehicle models, technologies and solutions to promote energy saving, increase connectivity, safety as well as a sustainable transportation ecosystem in Vietnam.
