In the context of global economic fluctuations, the trend of green energy movement takes place strongly and requires rapid and sustainable development according to the Party's orientation. For the energy industry, the power planning VIII adjusted and the new electricity law created a legal corridor and motivated the development of modern power sources.
Along with Petrovietnam being assigned the task of accelerating and making a breakthrough to form a world-class energy center with the orientation: "... focusing on developing wind power, hydrogen, ammonia, LNG, manufacturing energy equipment..." - requiring PV Power to play the role of the core unit, in which the leadership of the Party Committee of the Corporation is a key factor.
In the new term, PV Power focuses on strongly developing renewable energy sources, achieving the Net Zero goal by 2050; developing projects using LNG and LNG import infrastructure in sync with appropriate scale, using modern technology. The Corporation's Party Committee believes that there will be many breakthrough opportunities in development investment, business growth as well as international cooperation. In particular, PV Power Party Committee set a target for the entire term: commercial electricity output for the entire term reaches 116 billion kWh; total revenue reaches 260 trillion VND; pre-tax profit reaches 6 trillion VND and pays the state budget 5 trillion VND.
PV Power also focuses on construction investment by continuing to promote investment in LNG power projects in the Power Plan VIII; researching the renovation and upgrading of existing state-of-the-art facilities to burn clean fuel sources according to the carbon emission reduction roadmap.
The Corporation's Party Committee will direct the synchronous implementation of solutions according to the approved Digital Transformation Project, promote the application of AI and big data, advanced operational monitoring technology as well as actively cooperate with domestic and foreign science and technology organizations - aiming to become a leading enterprise in applying science and technology in the energy sector by 2030.
In addition to developing production, caring for the lives of employees of the entire Corporation and building a corporate culture imbued with the identity of oil and gas, professionalism; seriously and fully implementing the provisions of the Law on safety and environmental protection; Party building work will continue to be focused on in all three aspects: politics, ideology, organization and ethics.
PV Power Party Committee believes that all employees will continue to unite, join hands and be unanimous to lead the Corporation firmly forward in the new development stage, maintaining its position as the leading electricity and gas producer in the country.
