Presenting at VIIE 2025 to Party and Government leaders, Dr. Yap Kwong Weng - CEO of Vietnam Super PortTM said that the super port is integrating AI solutions that have been successfully deployed in Supply Chain City (Singapore), while cooperating with the worlds leading technology partners to improve goods processing capacity and support Vietnamese SME businesses.

According to Dr. Yap Kwong Weng, ICD Vinh Phuc - Vietnam Super PortTM is researching the application of AI in aviation operations with an automatic document authentication system, helping to simplify compliance, reduce manual and increase accuracy. At the same time, AI is also integrated into the goods screening system to detect and warn of prohibited goods and dangerous goods in real time, improve efficiency and reduce dependence on manual inspection.
In the field of logistics connectivity, Vietnam Super PortTM cooperates with Vietnam Post Logistics, Techcombank, Visa and Doxa (Singapore) to develop an integrated logistics market platform. This platform supports SMEs in comprehensively digitizing from ordering to payment, real-time order tracking, connecting external warehouses - transportation - financial services, thereby improving cash flow, reducing paperwork and enhancing the ability to participate in global trade.
In the field of automation, Vietnam Super PortTM cooperates with A*STAR (Singapore) and ecosystem partners to develop AI-interactive robots for the OACT, optimize cargo handling, improve productivity and reduce errors. Solutions include automatic cruise vehicles (AGVs), loading and unloading robots and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).
In addition, the "super port" aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2040, meeting global trends and the requirements of low-carbon logistics services.
