Thu Dau Mot University enrolls regular master's level in 2026

In the context of the digital economy and international integration requiring a team of experts with in-depth expertise, improving postgraduate education has become an urgent need. To meet the mission of training high-quality human resources, in 2026, Thu Dau Mot University officially announced a master's admission plan for 14 diverse training majors. The training program is organized in a formal form, with a duration of 2 years. Students can participate in direct learning at the school combined with online learning; the study schedule is mainly arranged on weekends and some evenings of the week, suitable for people working at agencies and businesses.

Regarding the enrollment method, the school applies two forms including direct admission (30% of the quota) and admission based on capacity profiles (70%). With the application review method, candidates are evaluated based on university academic results, intended research essays (compulsory), along with bonus criteria such as scientific research achievements and priority subjects according to regulations.

Prof. Dr. Ngo Hong Diep - Vice Rector of Thu Dau Mot University said: "The highlight is that with a 2-year training period in the formal form, students not only improve in-depth knowledge but also must meet foreign language output standards of level 3/6 according to the Vietnamese competency framework. These efforts affirm the school's sustainable development orientation in providing quality intellectual resources, contributing to the socio-economic development of the region and the whole country.

The application processing time is divided into two phases, corresponding to two enrollment periods in 2026. Specifically, phase 1 takes place in June 2026, phase 2 in October 2026. Admission and competency assessment activities are expected to be held in July and November 2026. Opening ceremonies of training courses will be held in late August and late December of the same year.

In addition to admissions, the school organizes entrance foreign language review classes for candidates in need. At the same time, the school applies a policy to support learners, in which alumni who graduate within 3 years are entitled to a 20% tuition fee reduction for the entire course when continuing to study for a master's degree at the school.
