After a period of strong correction since the peak set in early 2026, the silver market is entering a cycle assessed as more stable. According to WisdomTree's latest outlook report, silver prices may reach about 70 USD/ounce in Q2/2027, but this upward momentum will be significantly different from the previous speculative breakthrough.
WisdomTree believes that the price increase at the beginning of 2026 reflected the excessive excitement of the market. When silver prices surpassed very high levels, speculation increased sharply, causing price fluctuations to be greater than the actual supply and demand factors. After a prolonged adjustment, the current price level is assessed to be more suitable for the market to form a sustainable upward trend.
According to this organization, the outlook for silver in the medium and long term remains positive as the precious metal continues to benefit from the upward trend of gold prices. WisdomTree forecasts that gold prices will exceed 4,560 USD/ounce in the next 12 months, thereby creating momentum for silver thanks to the long-standing relationship between the two precious metals.
However, unlike gold, silver has a smaller market size and a larger proportion of individual investors, so price fluctuations are usually stronger in both directions. This is also the reason why silver once increased very quickly in the early stages of the year and then adjusted deeply.
The report also noted that too high prices will put pressure on industrial consumption demand. When raw material costs increase sharply, businesses tend to optimize production processes or find alternative materials to reduce silver use, especially in the solar energy industry - the largest silver consumption sector today.
In addition, WisdomTree believes that the demand for solar panels in China is showing signs of cooling down, while supply from mining activities is improving and inventory shortages are also gradually decreasing. These factors contribute to helping the market become more balanced after a period of strong fluctuations.
According to WisdomTree's assessment, the adjustment of silver prices to a reasonable range will help maintain industrial demand in the long term, while creating a foundation for the market to grow more stably instead of dependence on short-term speculation waves.
