On Tran Nhan Tong Street (Hanoi), Ms. Pham Thu Huong (Hoan Kiem District) said: "Many times I came here to wait in line, but I couldn't buy gold rings because the store was out of stock. Today I came early, the staff announced that they would sell a maximum of 2 taels of gold per person, so I was able to buy 1 tael."
Mr. Ngo Xuan Manh (Dong Da district, Hanoi) - a customer buying gold rings at a gold shop on Tran Nhan Tong street (Hanoi) - shared:
"I want to buy gold rings but it's too difficult to buy. For the past few weeks, most stores have not had a fixed opening time for selling gold rings. This morning, I continued to come at 9:50 to wait to buy. Currently, the store is selling a maximum of 2 taels of gold per person."
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Linh (Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi) has just bought a gold ring after many times of waiting.
"Many days ago, I came here, before I could even enter the store, the staff announced that all the gold rings were sold out. I came back this morning to buy more. They opened early so I was able to buy 1 tael of gold without having to wait in line," said Ms. Linh.

As of 9:30 a.m., DOJI Group listed the price of SJC gold bars at VND84.6 - 86.6 million/tael (buy - sell); down VND200,000/tael for both selling and buying.
The difference between buying and selling price of SJC gold at DOJI Group is at 2 million VND/tael.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed SJC gold price at 84.8 - 86.8 million VND/tael (buy - sell); unchanged.
The difference between buying and selling price of SJC gold at Bao Tin Minh Chau is at 2 million VND/tael.
The price of Hung Thinh Vuong 9999 round gold ring at DOJI is listed at 85.1 - 86.4 million VND/tael (buy - sell); down 300,000 VND/tael for buying and down 200,000 VND/tael for selling compared to early this morning.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 85.2 - 86.6 million VND/tael (buy - sell), down 500,000 VND/tael for buying and down 400,000 VND/tael for selling compared to early this morning.
The world gold price listed on Kitco at 10:07 a.m. on January 13 (Vietnam time) is at 2,687.68 USD/ounce.
