Gold price today, January 18: Gold is at risk of falling sharply

    Gold prices today, January 18, recovered slightly despite a series of factors causing gold prices to decrease. However, many experts believe that if gold cannot maintain the resistance level (1 500 USD/oz), the sell-off wave will most likely be triggered to reduce gold prices.

    Domestic gold prices this morning, January 18, were simultaneously adjusted by domestic businesses to increase around 120,000 VND to 170,000 VND/tael.

    Opening this morning's trading session, the gold price at 9:00 a.m. was listed by SJC Hanoi at 43.10 million VND/tael (up 150,000 VND/tael for buying) and 43.47 million VND/tael (up 150,000 VND/tael for selling) compared to the morning session on January 17.

    Doji Hanoi Jewelry Group listed at 42.27 million VND/tael (up 170,000 VND/tael for buying) and 43.42 million VND/tael (up 120,000 VND/tael for selling) compared to the previous morning session.

    Ho Chi Minh City SJC listed at 43.10 million VND/tael (up 150,000 VND/tael for buying) and 43.45 million VND/tael (up 150,000 VND for selling) compared to the morning session on January 17.

    The world gold price today, January 18, was listed at 1,556.7 USD/oz, up 2.7 USD/oz compared to the end of the afternoon of January 17 (Vietnam time).

    Converted at USD at the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (1 USD = 23,105 VND), the world gold price is equivalent to about 43.33 million VND/tael, 120,000 VND/tael lower than the price of SJC gold sold at the present time.
