Mr. Pham Van Duong (Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi) said that he had gone to the gold shop on Tran Nhan Tong street many times to wait in line but could only buy 5 taels of rings.
"Every time I come here, I see people standing in long lines waiting to buy gold rings, but today it seems less crowded. Currently, the store has not announced any sales. I want to buy more gold so I'm still waiting," said Mr. Duong.
Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thu Tra (Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi) is also waiting at a gold shop on Tran Nhan Tong street to buy gold rings for her wedding.
"I want to buy 2 taels of gold ring to celebrate a relative's wedding this weekend. However, I see that most stores have announced that they are out of stock or have limited the number of sales per day.
Some people said they would have to wait quite a while because they didn't know when the store would issue the gold vouchers. I'm still waiting," Ms. Tra shared.

Meanwhile, Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of SJC gold at 82.7-85.2 million VND/tael (buy - sell), unchanged in both directions.

At the same time, the price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong round gold ring at DOJI was listed at 83.3-84.3 million VND/tael (buy - sell); an increase of 300,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling compared to early this morning.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 83.18-84.28 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 200,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling compared to early this morning.
The world gold price listed on Kitco at 10:38 on December 9 (Vietnam time) is at 2,642.53 USD/ounce.
