The Congress was attended by 250 official delegates, representing the intelligence, bravery and aspirations of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers in the whole province.
The congress is an important political event, marking a new step in the development of the workers' movement and trade union activities in the context of Quang Ninh province continuing to promote industrialization, modernization, building smart cities and sustainable development.
According to the plan, the 15th Congress of the Quang Ninh Provincial Trade Union will focus on evaluating the results of implementing the Resolution of the 14th Congress (3rd period (2023-2025), clarifying outstanding achievements in representing, caring for, and protecting workers' rights; at the same time, recognizing the limitations and challenges in the context of rapid changes in the labor structure, many industries shifting towards high technology.
One of the key contents of the Congress is to discuss and approve the direction, goals, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term. The program focuses on building a strong Trade Union organization, improving the quality of the staff; enhancing innovation in content and methods of operation; promoting digital transformation in management, operation and provision of trade union services.
Along with that, the Congress will also elect the Executive Committee of the 15th Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor, which will take on the role of directing trade union work in the new term and elect delegates to attend the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
