On the morning of September 10, visiting and encouraging the families, Chairman of TKV Trade Union Le Thanh Xuan directed the Trade Unions of the units to coordinate with the experts to review and grasp the entire number of workers' families affected by the storm such as collapsed houses, blown-off roofs, flooded families, families with especially difficult circumstances... to visit, provide timely support and report to TKV Trade Union and the Group for support.
Chairman of TKV Trade Union Le Thanh Xuan shared and encouraged workers and their families to overcome difficulties, quickly stabilize their housing and life. For families whose houses were severely damaged by the storm and could not be repaired, and whose families were in especially difficult circumstances, Chairman of TKV Trade Union Le Thanh Xuan assigned the Trade Unions of the units to synthesize and survey to propose building and repairing houses from the "Trade Union Shelter" Fund as well as supporting workers from the unit's funds so that workers could stabilize their housing and work with peace of mind.
In the immediate future, the TKV Trade Union will visit and encourage injured workers with VND5 million/case; support families whose houses were damaged with VND2 million/family. At the same time, assign the TKV Trade Union's specialized committees and units to urgently compile the number of families affected by the storm to continue to have timely measures to support and help workers - Chairman of the TKV Trade Union Le Thanh Xuan said.
Also on the afternoon of September 10, Vice President of TKV Trade Union Nguyen Thi Minh and the departments of TKV Trade Union visited and supported 2 families of workers of the Mine Emergency Center - Vinacomin residing in Ha Phong ward, Ha Long city whose entire roof was blown off by storm No. 3.
