12 acts are strictly prohibited in electricity use in February 2025

Article 9 of the Electricity Law 2024 (effective from 1.2.2025) stipulates the prohibited acts in electricity activities and use of electricity as follows:

1. Electric activity has no licenses as prescribed by this Law.

2. Electric stealing.

3. Stealing vehicles, electrical equipment.

4. Destroying vehicles, electrical equipment, electrical works.

5. Using vehicles, equipment, fire, explosion, corrosion and other behaviors damage, causing electricity works incidents.

6. Electricity, cut off electricity in contravention of law.

7. Violating regulations on the protection of electricity works, electrical safety and damage of dams, hydroelectric reservoirs.

8. Planting trees, drilling, digging, embankment, construction, mineral exploitation, boat anchoring, boat, discharging wastewater, corrosive substances, dropping cashews, flying objects and other activities that violate the regulations of The law on the safety corridor of electricity works.

9. Using electricity as a direct protection vehicle, except for the case specified in Clause 4, Article 69 of this Law.

10. Providing inaccurate information, lack of transparency violates the legitimate rights and interests of agencies, organizations and individuals operating electricity and electricity use.

11. Hearing the competent agencies, organizations and individuals, repairing, renovating and troubleshooting incidents for electricity works, inspecting and supervising electricity activities and using electricity.

12. Honoring, causing troubles, illicit profits in electricity activities and electricity use.

Thus, acts are strictly prohibited in electricity operations and electricity use prescribed above.
