Article 24 of the Law on E-commerce (effective from July 1, 2026) stipulates the responsibilities of livestreamers selling goods as follows:
1. Provide information to the e-commerce platform administrator to serve the verification of the identity of the sales livestreamer.
2. Implement according to the regulations on livestream sales activities that have been publicized on the platform during the livestream sales process.
3. Refuse to cooperate when the seller does not provide complete information specified in Clauses 1 and 2, Article 23 of this Law.
4. Do not provide false or confusing information about uses, origin, quality, prices, promotional policies, warranties and other contents related to goods and services.
5. Implementing advertising content that has been certified by a competent state agency for goods and services according to the provisions of law, advertising content must be certified.
6. Do not use language, images, costumes, or behaviors that are contrary to social ethics or fine customs in the process of livestreaming sales.
7. Stop cooperation, stop streaming, remove display information immediately upon detection or at the request of the seller or at the request of a competent state agency regarding law violations.
Thus, from July 1, 2026, the livestream seller has the same responsibilities as above.
