Cases where extra teaching and extra teaching are not allowed

Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 4 of Circular 29/2024/TT-BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating extra teaching and learning (effective from February 14, 2025) stipulates cases where extra teaching and organization of extra teaching are not allowed as follows:

1. Do not organize extra classes for primary school students, except in the following cases: art training, physical education, and life skills training.

2. Teachers who are teaching at schools are not allowed to teach extra classes outside of school for money from students that the teacher is assigned to teach by the school according to the school's educational plan.

3. Teachers at public schools are not allowed to participate in the management and operation of extra-curricular teaching but can participate in extra-curricular teaching.

Thus, the above cases are not allowed to teach or organize extra classes.
