Conditions for teachers to be awarded the title of Advanced Worker

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 3 of Circular 29/2023/TT-BGDDT detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation for the Education Sector stipulates the title of Advanced Worker as follows:

1. The title of Advanced Worker is awarded annually at the end of the school year or working year to individuals of units under the Ministry or units under the Ministry, national universities and meeting the standards prescribed in Clause 1, Article 24 of the Law on Emulation and Commendation.

2. In case an individual is transferred or seconded to another agency, organization or unit for a certain period of time, the consideration for the title of Advanced Worker shall be considered and decided by the agency, organization or unit transferring or seconding and confirmed by the agency, organization or unit receiving the transfer or seconded individual. For seconded officers of the Vietnam People's Army and the People's Public Security, comply with the provisions of law.

3. The Minister of Education and Training decides to recognize the title of Advanced Worker for Deputy Ministers and civil servants of units without legal status under the Ministry.

4. The head of a unit with legal status under a Ministry or a unit under a Ministry or a national university director decides to award the title of Advanced Worker to an individual under the agency, organization or unit under his/her direct management.

Thus, the conditions for teachers to be awarded Advanced Labor are implemented according to the above regulations.
