New bonus level for teachers achieving the title of Advanced Worker

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Clause 1, Article 24 of the 2022 Law on Emulation and Commendation stipulates the title of "Advanced Worker" to be awarded to cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers who meet the following standards:

a) Completing the task well or better;

b) Having a spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, solidarity, mutual assistance, and actively participating in emulation movements.

Article 50 of Decree 152/2025/ND-CP (effective from July 1, 2025) stipulates the bonus level for emulation titles as follows:

1. For individuals:

a) The title of "National Emulation Fighter" is awarded a Certificate, frame, Badge, Badge container and is rewarded 4.5 times the basic salary;

b) The title of emulation fighter of ministries, departments, branches, and provinces is awarded with a Certificate, frame, Badge, and a container of the Badge and is awarded 3.0 times the basic salary;

c) The title of "Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level" is awarded a Certificate, a framework and is rewarded 1.0 times the basic salary;

d) The title of "Advanced Worker" and "Advanced Soldier" is awarded 0.3 times the basic salary.

According to Decree 73/2024/ND-CP, the current basic salary is 2,340,000 VND/month.

Thus, from July 1, 2025, teachers who achieve the title of Advanced Worker will be rewarded with VND 702,000 according to the above regulations.
