Article 3 of Decree 176/2026/ND-CP (effective from July 7, 2026) stipulates preferential policies for lecturers directly teaching specialties in the field of nuclear power in Vietnam.
1. Priority is given to considering and approving science and technology tasks at all levels using state budget in the field of nuclear power.
2. Receive financial support equal to 40 times the base salary for lecturers who are leading authors or sole contact authors for a scientific paper in nuclear power specialties published in prestigious international journals according to the regulations of the Ministry of Science and Technology, excluding the scientific publication support regime of the training institution.
3. Priority is given to being selected to participate in short-term training courses and fostering courses in nuclear power specialties at home and abroad. The cost of internships and fostering is guaranteed by the state budget. Lecturers are kept with their salaries and regimes during the time of participating in short-term internships and fostering courses.
Thus, from July 7, 2026, lecturers directly teaching specialties in the field of nuclear power in Vietnam will enjoy the above preferential policies.
