Social insurance contribution rate of security guards at the grassroots level in Ho Chi Minh City

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Clause 1, Article 23 of the Law on Forces Participating in Security and Order Protection at the Grassroots Level stipulates: People participating in security and order protection forces at the grassroots level are entitled to receive regular monthly support, and are supported with voluntary social insurance and health insurance contributions at the level decided by the Provincial People's Council.

Article 3 of Resolution 08/2024/NQ-HDND of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council stipulates the regular monthly support level for people participating in the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level and supporting voluntary social insurance and health insurance contributions as follows:

1. Regular monthly support levels

a) Team leader: 6,500,000 VND/person/month;

b) Deputy Head of the Team: 6,300,000 VND/person/month;

c) Team members: VND 6,000,000/person/month.

2. People participating in the security and order protection force at the grassroots level are supported with 100% of the amount of voluntary social insurance contributions above the regular monthly support level prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article.

3. Those participating in the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level will be supported with 100% of the annual health insurance premium.

Thus, people participating in the security and order protection force at the grassroots level in Ho Chi Minh City are supported with 100% of the amount of voluntary social insurance contributions above the regular monthly support level from VND 6,000,000 to VND 6,500,000 depending on their position as prescribed above.
