Clause 4, Article 6 of Circular 05/2025/TT-BGDDT Regulating the working regime for general education and university reserve teachers (effective from 22.04/2025) stipulates the annual leave of principals and deputy principals as follows:
a) Annual leave for principals and deputy principals includes summer vacation; holidays, Tet and other holidays as prescribed by the Labor Code and the Law on Social Insurance;
b) The summer vacation of principals and vice principals is flexibly arranged during the school year and during the summer vacation of teachers to ensure that school activities run normally and ensure the completion of work tasks summoned by management agencies at all levels (if any). The summer vacation schedule of principals and deputy principals must be reported to the competent management agency or according to decentralization.
Thus, from April 22, 2025, the annual leave of principals is implemented according to the above regulations.
