Criteria for considering the rank of army for professional soldiers

Legal Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 4 of Circular 18/2025/TT-BQP of the Ministry of Defense stipulates that the ranks of graduates of training officers in the army; promoted the ranks of officers, superior level, before the deadline and raising the officer salary ahead of time (effective from March 22, 2025) stipulating the criteria for considering the rank of ranks for professional soldiers, workers and defense officials training university level as follows:

1. Graduation students are promoted to the rank of Lieutenant or higher corresponding to the current salary.

2. Graduated graduates or above are considered to raise their salary before a period of 1 year to consider the rank of officers.

a) Professional soldiers, workers and defense officials until the wage raising time shall be considered for salary raising according to regulations.

b) Transferring salary to high -end professional military personnel according to the regulations of the Ministry of Defense as a basis for considering the rank of officers, ensuring the difference must not exceed one of the adjacent salary.

c) In case the rank of officers is lower than the current professional army, the officer has not considered the rank of officers, granted the number of cadres and transfers the salary to high -class professional military personnel according to the training level, reserving the wage raising time to consider the army of officers in subsequent years (in case of an individual who wishes).

Thus, from March 22, 2025, the criteria for considering the rank of the rank of professional soldiers were as prescribed above.
