- Results of the thinking assessment test (TSA) organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology: achieved 50 points or more.
- Results of the competency assessment test (SPT) organized by Hanoi National University of Education: The total score of 03 subjects in the appropriate admission combination is specified in Section 4, achieving 15 points or more.
The admission method based on the results of the competency and thinking assessment test - school applies to all majors, except for Music, Graphic Design and Nursing.

- Method of using the thinking assessment results for the 2024-2025 school year of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (applicable to some majors and training in Hanoi):
+ Candidates using the results of the thinking assessment test organized by the National Backup University for the 2024-2025 school year, with priority points for the National Backup for Education (if any) expected to be from 50 points or more (on a scale of 100 points) will be eligible to apply for admission.
+ This entrance level may be adjusted after candidates know the exam scores of the 2025 thinking assessment exam of the Mekong Delta.
- Method of using the results of the 2024-2025 school year's capacity assessment of Hanoi National University (applicable to some admission and training majors in Hanoi):
+ Candidates taking the competency assessment exam organized by the National Assembly in the 2024-2025 school year with priority points for the competency assessment test score according to regulations (if any) expected to score 75 points or more (on a scale of 150) will be submitted to apply for admission.
+ This entrance exam level may be adjusted after candidates know the exam scores of the final round of the 2025 competency assessment exam of VNU- s.ghen.
+ Candidates should note to choose a test suitable for the major they registered for admission in the third part (scientific exam/English exam): For engineering majors: candidates must choose a science exam with a Physics subject. For the English Language major: candidates must choose an English exam.
- Method of using the results of the 2024-2025 school year's capacity assessment of Ho Chi Minh City National University (applicable to enrollment and training majors at Ho Chi Minh City Branch):
+ Candidates taking the competency assessment exam organized by the National University of Singapore in the 2024-2025 school year, with priority points from the competency assessment test according to regulations (if any) expected to score 600 points or more (on a scale of 1,200) will be submitted to apply for admission.
+ This entrance exam level may be adjusted after candidates know the exam scores of the second round of the 2025 competency assessment exam of VNU-HCM.
