In addition to the capital Tehran, many other cities across Iran have also recorded a wave of protests calling for a response to Israel.

On June 13, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian called on the Iranian people to unite and rely on the country's leaders after Israel airstrikes Iran in an unprecedented attack.

President Pezeshkian asked all of Iran to maintain solidarity and place absolute trust in the government. "The country needs solidarity more than ever," Pezeshkian added.

Mr. Pezeshkian pledged to take a "hard, reasonable and strong" response to Israel.
