On June 13, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian called on the Iranian people to unite and rely on the country's leaders after Israel airstrikes Iran in an unprecedented attack.
President Pezeshkian asked all of Iran to maintain solidarity and place absolute trust in the government. "The country needs solidarity more than ever," Pezeshkian added.
Mr. Pezeshkian pledged to take a "hard, reasonable and strong" response to Israel.

Top officials of the Islamic Republic have also repeatedly issued warnings to Israel after the attack killed senior military commanders and nuclear scientists.
Iran's top leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei affirmed that Israel will face " harsh sanctions" while Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called the attack "a declaration of war".
Meanwhile, thousands of protests have gathered in Tehran, calling on the government to take strong action to retaliate against Israel's attacks on Iran.
In addition to the capital Tehran, local media also recorded a wave of protests in many cities across the country.
