On January 5, the University of Finance and Marketing announced that in 2025, the school will open two new training majors: Economic Management and Data Science.
This school plans to enroll students through 6 admission methods, including:
Method 1: direct admission, direct admission and priority admission according to the University Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Method 2: consider students with good high school results according to 4 aspects:
Area 1: High school graduates in 2025 with excellent academic performance in grades 10, 11 and 12.
Area 2: High school graduates in 2025 from specialized and gifted schools under the province/city/university with an average score of each subject in the admission combination of grades 10, 11 and 12 from 7.0 points or higher.
Area 3: High school graduates in 2025 who won first, second, or third prizes in excellent student competitions, science and technology competitions at the provincial/municipal level or higher, or who are members of the school/province/municipal team participating in the national excellent student competition, national science and technology competition with an average score of each subject in the admission combination of grades 10, 11, and 12 from 6.0 points or higher.
Category 4: High school graduates in 2025 with an international English IELTS score of 5.5 or higher (or an equivalent international English certificate) or an English certificate of level 4/6 or higher according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework for Vietnam issued by authorized educational institutions with a valid period as of the date the school receives the application for admission and a good academic performance or higher in grades 10, 11 and 12.
Method 3: consider high school academic results according to subject groups.
Method 4: Admission based on the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's Competency Assessment Exam.
Method 5: Admission based on the results of the computer-based university entrance exam (V-SAT) for 2025 enrollment organized by the University of Finance and Marketing at locations nationwide and the V-SAT exam results of schools that have signed cooperation agreements with the University of Finance and Marketing.
Method 6: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam according to the general plan of the Ministry of Education and Training.
