The Central University of Art Education has 3 admission methods, specifically as follows:
Method 1: Direct admission
Regarding the principle of admission, according to the Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training:
Candidates who win prizes according to the current Admission Regulations, the prize period is not more than 4 years up to the time of direct admission, and have graduated from high school and are eligible to be directly admitted to a school according to the major suitable for the exam subject.
Candidates can register their wishes for many different majors without limiting the number, but must arrange their wishes in priority order from high to low.
In case many wishes are eligible for admission, candidates will only be recognized as eligible for admission (except for high school graduation) according to the highest wish.
Regarding admission conditions, candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
Candidates who have won individual awards in the field of music at the provincial/city level or equivalent or higher.
Candidates who win individual prizes in national and international piano competitions or international certificates such as: Trinity (Canada), Abrsm (UK), Ameb (Australia) ... from level 8 or grade 8 or higher.
Candidates who won individual awards in singing competitions at the provincial/city level or equivalent or higher.
Candidates won individual prizes in competitions for Drama and Cinema at the provincial/city level or equivalent or higher.
Candidates won individual prizes in provincial/city-level or equivalent beauty contests or higher.
Candidates who won first, second, and third prizes in the semesters and competitions for excellent students from the provincial level and above.
Candidates are excellent students for 3 years of high school, and all 3 subjects in the admission combination score 8.0 or higher.
Candidates with an English certificate of IELTS 5.5, TOEIC 701, TOEFL 520 or higher, or international certificates of Japanese, Korean, Chinese... with equivalent scores. At the same time, the 2 cultural subjects in the group achieved 8.5 points/subject or higher (based on high school transcripts or exam scores).
Method 2: Admission
For training majors considered for admission according to block A00, C00, D00 such as: Cultural Management, Sewing Technology, Social Work, Tourism.

Candidates can register their wishes for many different majors without limiting the number.
Regarding admission conditions, candidates can choose 1 of 2 options: High school transcript admission (subject score in the admission combination is the average score of 3 years of high school achieving 5.0 or higher) and high school national exam score admission ( Subject score in the admission combination achieving 5.0 or higher).
Method 3: Admission combined with talent competition
Regarding admission conditions, for majors requiring admission exams, compulsory subject 1 is Literature.
For the training majors of Music Pedagogy and Fine Arts Pedagogy, candidates can choose 1 of the following 2 forms:
Subject 1: Literature combined with high school transcripts
The average score of 3 years of minimum high school education is 6.5 or higher and the academic performance of grade 12 is classified as good or higher or the high school graduation score is 6.5 or higher.
Subject 1: Literature combined with admission scores for the National High School Exam
Implement according to the input quality assurance threshold determined by the Ministry of Education and Training in 2025.
* In case the candidate takes the exam with a talent test score organized by the school with an excellent grade (from 9.0 or higher on a scale of 10.0), the minimum Literature score will be 5.0 or higher.
Regarding entrance exams ( scores for skills x coefficient 2)
For the Music Pedagogy major, the second subject is Basic Music Knowledge and the third subject is Vocal - wind and accompaniment.
For the Fine Arts Pedagogy major, the second subject is Graphics and the third subject is painting.
For training majors in painting, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Sewing Technology, Cultural Management
The first exam is Literature combined with the average score of 3 years of high school or a high school exam score of 5.0 or higher.
The second subject is Graphics and the third subject is painting.
For the training majors of Piano, Music, Cultural Management, Drama - Cinema Actors
The first exam is Literature combined with the average score of 3 years of high school or a high school exam score of 5.0 or higher.
Based on the nature of each major, the second subject is Basic Music Knowledge and Physical Education, Voice. The third subject can be Piano/Music or Acting.
After completing the 2025 high school graduation exam, candidates who wish to study at the school are still in the process of training to prepare for the talent exam on July 11.
