In 2026, Hanoi University of Industry is expected to recruit 8,300 targets using 5 methods. In which, the school will use the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the results of the 2026 thinking assessment exam organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology for admission consideration. Registration conditions are as follows:
- Admission based on the results of the 2026 high school student competency assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi:
a) Candidates: Candidates who have the results of the 2026 high school student competency assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi and are recognized as graduating from high school in 2026 or equivalent.
b) Registration conditions for admission: Candidates with a total score of the entire high school student competency assessment exam in 2026 organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi reaching 75 points or higher and having a total score of 03 subjects in the 2026 high school graduation exam according to the admission combination reaching at least 15.00 points on a 30-point scale.
- Admission based on the results of the 2026 thinking assessment exam organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology:
a) Candidates: Candidates who have the results of the 2026 thinking assessment exam organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology and are recognized as graduating from high school in 2026 or equivalent.
b) Registration conditions for admission: Candidates with a total score of the 2026 thinking assessment exam organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology reaching 50 points or higher and having a total score of 03 subjects in the 2026 high school graduation exam according to the admission combination reaching at least 15.00 points on a 30-point scale.
For the University of Commerce, the school also uses the results of competency and thinking assessment tests for admission consideration:
(1) Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi for the 2026 enrollment year (HSA >=80 points):
Admission score (scale of 150 points) = Total score of the GNL exam + Priority points (if any) + Bonus points (if any) + Consolation points (if any).
(2) Admission based on the thinking assessment test results of Hanoi University of Science and Technology for the 2026 enrollment year (TSA>=50 points)
Admission score (scale of 100 points) = Total score of the ĐGTD exam + Priority points (if any) + Bonus points (if any) + Consolation points (if any).
For Ha Long University, this year, the school uses the competency assessment exam results of Hanoi National University of Education for admission consideration. In which, the school only applies this method to teacher training majors, excluding Music Pedagogy and Preschool Education majors:
- Candidates use the results of the 2026 competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University of Education according to the combination of 03 admission subjects prescribed by Ha Long University to apply for teacher training majors.
- Entrance quality assurance score threshold (admission floor score): Total score of 03 high school graduation exam subjects in 2026 according to the admission combination or using the score of Math, Literature and another exam subject reaching 18.00 points or higher or the high school graduation consideration score in 2026 from 8.50 or higher (not applicable to candidates graduating from 2025 or earlier); Grading academic performance for the whole 12th grade year reaching excellent (good) or higher.
